RCS-DVJ Air Injection Vacuum Blower

Heavy‑duty, versatile, and engineered for continuous performance in demanding transport environments. Our RCS‑DVJ Air Injected Whispair™ Rotary Positive Blowers deliver reliable vacuum and pressure for bulk unloading, pneumatic conveying, and fuel transfer across truck fleets in the U.S.

  • Max Vacuum: 27 “Hg (910 mbar)
  • Flow Capacity: Up to 5,260 CFM
  • Speed Range: 1180 – 2250 RPM
  • Available in v-belt or direct drive configurations
  • Rigid cast iron cylinder and headplates
  • Anti-friction cylindrical roller bearings
  • Splash lubricated spur timing gears
  • Inlet and discharge connections in standard pipe sizes
  • Involute profile ductile iron impellers
  • High Vacuum Capability: This exhauster is designed to overcome the limitations of standard dry exhausters, achieving vacuum levels beyond 16” Hg with integral cooling to prevent extreme discharge temperatures and potential equipment damage.
  • Durable Construction: The DVJ blower features grey iron headplates, gear cover, drive end cover, and one-piece casing, along with carburized alloy steel spur timing gears taper mounted on the shafts, secured with a locknut. Cylindrical roller bearings ensure robust performance.
  • Efficient Sealing Mechanisms: Piston rings and lip-type oil seals minimize air leakage and prevent lubricant from entering the air chamber, with a hydrodynamic seal on the drive shaft preventing oil leaks.
  • Effective Lubrication: The vacuum exhausters incorporate splash oil lubrication at both ends for smooth and reliable performance.
  • Warranty Coverage: A warranty period of 12 months from date of original unit start-up or 18 months from date of original shipment is provided.

The air injection vacuum blower operates on a rotary positive displacement principle enhanced by atmospheric air injection:

  • Stage 1 – Air Intake

Incoming air is trapped between the impellers as they rotate, while pressurized air is simultaneously discharged.

  • Stage 2 – Cooling via Jet Plenum

As the upper impeller passes the discharge jet plenum, cooled atmospheric air is injected into the cylinder. This reduces the temperature of the trapped air, controls thermal expansion, and enables higher discharge pressures without overheating.

  • Stage 3 – Discharge

The cooled, compressed air is moved into the discharge flange. Backflow is minimized, resulting in lower operating noise and reduced shock loading on the impellers.

What makes air injection vacuum blowers superior to standard dry exhausters?

The integrated jet plenum cooling design allows operation beyond 16” Hg without overheating, enabling higher vacuum levels safely.

Are these blowers suitable for truck‑mounted applications?

Yes. Compact design, flexible drive options, and rugged mounting feet make them ideal for transport trucks and tankers.

How does the blower reduce maintenance needs?

With no sliding parts, robust bearings, and splash lubrication, wear is minimized and service intervals are extended.

Can gases and vapors be handled safely?

Absolutely. The design supports safe handling of vapors and petroleum products without oil mist contamination.
