Roots® blowers are found wherever there is a need to move air and gas. That means throughout a vast number of applications within industries such as food & beverage, chemicals, water, pulp & paper, mining, cement, power, metals and oil & gas. 

Many industrial processes rely on air such as combustion, vacuum, air separation, water aeration, pneumatic conveying, membrane cleaning or regeneration and many more.

In gas applications, Roots blowers are used to process a variety of gases, ranging from steam to nitrogen, hydrogen, and other hydrocarbons. They are also specialized in steel degassing with high vacuum boosters.

  • Range: nine models offer a large performance envelope with small rotary blowers up to 10,000 m3/h available as a bareshaft blower or within a standard package. Larger blowers up to 70,000 m3//h can be packaged as required per customer requirement or supplied as a bareshaft for packaging by others.
  • Reliability: our blowers are trusted to perform in areas of continuous use. Optional features such as Dual splash lubrication can increase oil capacity and add to blower reliability.
  • Efficiency: all power consuming equipment can contribute to significant annual and lifetime operating costs. Roots experts will specify the right blowers for each site and duty to maximise the output with the minimal level of power consumption.
  • Noise: keeping operations under the permitted noise level is a critical factor for the health of personnel on site and the neighbouring community. It’s an area in which Roots excel with a range that offers WHISPAIR™ technology which reduces pulsation and noise by 3-5 dBA. Acoustic enclosures can also be supplied with up to 22 dBA free field attenuation.
